T.J. Hockenson Still Learning
T.J. Hockenson, the No. 8 overall pick of the draft, dropped an easy touchdown pass wide open in the end zone in practice on Thursday. He has spent most of minicamp with the second-team offense behind Jesse James and sometimes is coming in after Logan Thomas, Jerome Cunningham and Michael Roberts. Because of Hockenson's pedigree and draft placement, he's expected to see his role increase once training camp starts. It's just a reminder of how difficult rookie tight ends have it in making the leap to the NFL in Year 1. Hockenson should be fine in the long run, but don't overvalue him in redraft leagues just because he was a top-10 pick in the draft.
