Joey Wendle Could Be Out 6-8 Weeks
Joey Wendle (wrist) could be out for six to eight weeks. Wendle fractured his wrist on Wednesday when he was hit by a pitch and will be out an extended period of time. He was hitting just .136 (3-for-22) with no homers and two RBI, so nobody should be hanging onto him in mixed leagues while he heals. His absence assures Brandon Lowe of everyday playing time. The left-handed hitter deserves to be owned in all leagues after starting the year batting .291/.347/.581 with six home runs, 17 RBI and two steals.
