The Houston Astros, Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Rays are showing interest in trading for Seattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz. Seattle is apparently willing to discuss almost any player in trades this winter, with the 38-year-old Cruz being one of the most likely players to be moved. Despite his age, Cruz managed to hit .256/.342/.509 with 37 home runs and 97 RBI in 144 games. He's hit 30 or more home runs each of the last five seasons, including three years with 40-plus dingers. The power remains at his advanced age, but injuries are a real concern as well as his limited positional eligibility. Cruz is a lock to remain in the American League.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
