ANALYSIS: The Golden Tate era is over in Detroit and it appears wide receiver T.J. Jones will be taking over his spot in the slot for the time being. More than likely Jones won’t have much value this season with Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones as the top options. If an injury were to occur though, then Jones should be considered as an addition in deep leagues.
Matthew Stafford has looked Jones way in the past, even last season when Tate, Golladay and Jones were all together. Jones could offer some value in the red zone and even in hurry up situations at some point this season. Considering the Lions still aren’t that good, there could be plenty of opportunities.
