Logan Morrison Leaves Game Early
Logan Morrison left Wednesday's Cactus League game against the Red Sox early after coming down with tightness in his right gluteus. Morrison developed the injury after sliding into home plate. The Twins removed him from the game shortly thereafter, although it appears the move was just precautionary. For now, consider Morrison day-to-day. He set a career high with 38 homers in 2017 as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays and signed a one-year free-agent deal with the Twins in February. Morrison was replaced in the lineup by Kennys Vargas.
