These FanDuel lineup recommendations are based on matchups, recent performances, overall upside/talent levels, and other factors such as Vegas odds, home field advantage, and more.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 11 DFS Pick

Drew Brees (vs. WAS, $8,100)

Brees hasn’t lived up to fantasy expectations this season, despite the Saints excelling as a team. This isn’t due to poor performance however, just that he hasn’t  been required to throw for big volume thanks to the emerging Saints defense and run game. That said, Washington has proven to be relatively tough against opposing running backs and quite the opposite against opposing quarterbacks. This has been especially true of late, as they have allowed 25+ fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks three of the past four weeks. Brees has been a disappointment this season, but this is the week to go back to him one more time.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 11 DFS Picks

Jordan Howard (vs. DET, $7,400)

Jordan Howard is one of the safest volume plays out there, as he has the third highest carry total in the league. Thus, when he can either run efficiently or find the end zone, he puts up strong fantasy numbers. He has a good chance to do at least one of those, if not both, this week against the Lions as they have allowed at least one running touchdown in each of the past four games and have allowed 4.71 yards per rush in that same span. As a bonus, Howard should be a contrarian play as he burned a lot of DFS players last week.

Melvin Gordon (vs. BUF, $7,800)

Many will be scared away from Melvin Gordon due to the perceived threat to his volume that the emerging Ausin Ekeler presents. However, Gordon has seen more than enough touches to do damage against a Bills defense that has allowed 22, 32, and 62 points to opposing running backs over the past three weeks. While we shouldn’t expect a replication of last week’s Saints performance against the Bills, Gordon is in a positive matchup and puts him in play this week.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 11 DFS Picks

Bruce Ellington (vs. ARI, $4,600) 

Tom Savage has looked Ellington’s way a lot over the past two weeks, as he saw eight and nine targets respectively over the last two games. While that has yet to translate into any type of efficiency, and likely won’t with  Savage at quarterback, Ellington’s near minimum price makes him worth considering. Even better for Elington’s stock is that Will Fuller is sidelined this week, which should only open up more targets for him. Patrick Peterson should shadow DeAndre Hopkins, leaving Ellington with a  more favorable matchup as well.

Jeremy Maclin (@GB, $6,000)

Maclin should draw a matchup against Damarious Randall this week and Randall has allowed the ninth most fantasy points per pass defended on the year. While not a superstar by any stretch, Maclin has shown a decent floor, reaching double-digit FanDuel points in four of his past seven games. There isn’t a ton of upside with this play, but Maclin is a safe cash game play in a positive matchup this week.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 11 DFS Pick

Cameron Brate (vs. MIA, $5,500) 

Travis Kelce will be very chalky this week and rightfully so, but if you don’t want to pay up at the position Cameron Brate is an intriguing option. Though he hasn’t exactly lit it up the past two games, he has one reception in each, the Dolphins offer a favorable matchup. Both Jared Cook and Ed Dickson took advantage of the matchup, posting 16.6 and 10.8 points respectively, making it a good possibility that Brate can do the same. This may not be the week to fade elite tight ends, but if you are looking to do so, Brate is a quality option.

FanDuel Defense - Week 11 DFS Pick

Los Angeles Chargers (vs. BUF, $4,300)

This low price didn’t make much sense for Chargers heading into their matchup against the Bills, but that has only increased as the week has worn on. Of course, the Bills named rookie Nathan Peterman as their starter on Wednesday and will be without two starting offensive lineman this week. The Chargers’ pass rush should have a field day, leading directly to fantasy points in terms of sacks but also potentially forcing interceptions and/or fumbles.
