Roger Lewis (WR, NYG) - Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups

NFL wide receiver Roger Lewis is a Week 6 fantasy football waiver wire pickup and add. Target him as a free agent WR off waivers, especially in standard leagues.

ANALYSIS: With the Giants missing two of their top wide receivers for the rest of the year and a third, Sterling Shepard, perhaps not ready to go this week, Eli Manning may already have his new number one on the roster. Sure, the Giants have picked up a couple of receivers from their practice squad, but it’s 23-year-old Roger Lewis who appears set to be the top option for now.

With the team set for a matchup against the Denver Broncos this week, expect Lewis to be blanketed as the number one receiver. Even if he doesn’t produce at the level that Odell Beckham can, Lewis is set for a good number of looks from Eli Manning, opening the possibility of big plays and scoring plays.

Available in virtually every fantasy football league at the moment, he’s a great option to stick in your bench for a week or two as the rest of the Giants season pans out. Should the results be promising, he will be worth the add. Obviously this is a risk, but there are definitely major rewards in play if you can add a number one receiver at this point in the season.
