FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (06/04/17): MLB DFS Advice

The top FanDuel daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for 6/4/17 by Tom Vecchio. Expert MLB DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for FanDuel.

It's Sunday and that means every team is on the slate to close out the weekend. Some big arms on the mound means you will have to find some salary savings, if you want to fit them into your lineup. As of now, there are three games with weather concerns, Hou @ Tex, CWS @ Det, and Cle @ Kan. Be sure to check in on the status of those games before lineups lock.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/04/2017. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options, and of course, value plays

Offensive Stacks

Houston Astros vs Martin Perez

In 11 games this year, Perez has given up six or more hits in 10 of those games. He is getting shelled every time he is on the mound. It doesn't help him that he is at a hitters park, where the weather is generally always warm. He has a 1.70 WHIP this year and has given up 73 Hits in 62 IP. He cannot keep players off the bases, and it always leads to runs. Load up on some Astros bats, especially the right-handed hitters.

Washington Nationals vs Sonny Gray

Gray has had two nice starts this year, and the rest of the time he is very shaky. He hasn't lasted past the sixth inning in five of his six starts, and has 33 hits in 34 IP. Some people believe he has the potential to be a great pitcher, I'm not one of them. He is far too inconsistent, and it makes him a great option to target. Load up on the bats, and Harper should be back from his suspension.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Chris Sale - P, @ BAL ($11,400)

Sale has been on another level this season when it comes to strikeouts. He has eight starts with over 10 strikeouts, and has a sure fire option when comes to cash games. He hasn't been totally shut down when it comes to preventing runs, but he can make up for that with the strikeout upside. Today he is up against Baltimore who has a 24% strikeout rate versus left-handed pitching, which is fifth worst in the league. This is a great match up for him, and is one of the best options when it comes to cash games.

Tanner Roark - P, @ OAK ($8,400)

Roark isn't the most consistent pitcher this season, but he has put together two nice starts. He has only allowed 1 ER, 1 BB, and has 12 SO over his last two games. He is a great GPP option today because of his match up. He is at Oakland who has a 25% strikeout rate versus right-handed pitching this season, which is third worst in the Majors. Being at Oakland, this is also a great pitchers park, so the upside potential is big here.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Evan Gattis - C, @ TEX ($3,200)

Gattis is always a good option when it comes to catcher. He plays in one of the best offenses in the league and he usually isn't over priced. This season, Gattis has a a .324 wOBA and a .276 ISO vs left-handed pitching. This is a hitters ball park, which is always nice, but a bit of weather concern, so check in on that.

Matt Carpenter - 1B, @ CHC ($3,100)

Carpenter seems to be a bit too cheap today, and this puts him in a good spot. He has nice power upside, and with his match up vs a right-handed pitcher, he should capitalize on that. This season, he has a .360 wOBA and a .220 ISO vs RHP. Great spot for him, and can be used in cash or tournaments.

Starlin Castro - 2B, @ TOR ($3,100)

Castro and the Yankees offense is really clicking right now. They were in a bit of a slump, but the power bats are coming through. Castro is batting .321 with 69 hits in 53 games. Really strong numbers for two months into the season, and he has a .366 wOBA vs RHP.

Kyle Seager - 3B, vs TAM ($3,200)

Seager is a huge splits hitter, and you always want to target him when he is up against right-handed pitching, as he is today. He has a .317 wOBA and a .150 ISO this season vs RHP. Those numbers should be a bit higher for him, but he is at a lower price today. Great for cash games.

Zack Cozart - SS, vs ATL ($3,400)

Cozart is surprising some people with how well he has been performing this season. He is batting .335 with 59 hits in 47 games thus far this year. At home in a great hitters park, this is the spot you want to roster him. He has a .408 wOBA and a .226 ISO vs right-handed pitching.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

J.D. Martinez - OF, vs CWS ($4,100)

Martinez hasn't had too many plate appearances this year, so his numbers are a bit inflated right now, but he is still in a good spot. This season, he has a .778 wOBA and a 1.111 ISO vs left-handed pitching. Yes, you read those numbers right, but Martinez has only played in 21 games. He makes a great play in any format.

Curtis Granderson - OF, vs PIT ($2,700)

If you want to fit one of the higher priced pitchers in your lineup today, you are going to need to find some salary savings somewhere. Granderson is under $3K, and he has a decent match up vs a right-handed pitcher. This season he has a .321 wOBA and a .167 ISO vs RHP.

Dexter Fowler - OF, @ CHC ($3,300)

Always love a good revenge narrative in sports, and Fowler is back at his former team this weekend. He had a homer on Friday in game one of this series, and now the Sunday Night game should draw something extra. He has a .351 wOBA and a .250 ISO vs right-handed pitching this year. Great as a one off in tournaments.
