Week 11 Daily Fantasy Football Tournament Stacks

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes in last Sunday's win against the New England Patriots, which certainly made fantasy owners happy. Fantasy owners of Wilson and Doug Baldwin, who caught all three of the scores, were surely elated. Stacking Wilson and Baldwin effectively doubled the worth of those three TDs.

The goal of this weekly column is to help find the most profitable DFS stacks, while avoiding the duds. Stacking, or pairing multiple players from the same NFL team, is an ideal way to maximize your point production, which is crucial in larger GPP (guaranteed prize pool) tournaments. Let's take a look at some of the top DFS stacks for Week 11, loosely sorted by salary.

High Priced Week 11 DFS Stacks

Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger and WR Antonio Brown at Cleveland

These two are mainstays in this weekly column space, and for good reason. Brown entered the season as the unquestioned No. 1 wide receiver in fantasy football, and performances like last week (14 receptions, 154 yards, TD) remind us why.

Roethlisberger still isn't 100 percent following a knee injury, but he still managed to pass for 408 yards and three touchdowns against Dallas last Sunday. That's not too shabby. Look for this duo to torch the still-winless Browns on Sunday.

New York QB Eli Manning and WR Odell Beckham Jr. vs. Chicago

Beckham only has two 100-yard games this season, but he's tied for third in the NFL with six receiving touchdowns. Look for him to add to that total Sunday against a struggling Bears defense.

Manning has thrown two interceptions in three of his last four games, so he's also a riskier play than some of the other top quarterbacks. He also has 10 combined touchdown passes over that same stretch, so there is upside, too.

New England QB Tom Brady and TE Martellus Bennett at San Francisco

Brady did not throw a touchdown in last Sunday's loss to Seattle, the first time he was held in check in his five games since returning from his Deflategate suspension. That will not be the case this Sunday against a dreadful 49ers team.

Expect Brady to pick apart San Francisco's 32nd-ranked defense with relative ease. The question, of course, is which player will catch the touchdown(s)? With Rob Gronkowski a major question mark, Bennett stands out as a prime red-zone option to pair with Brady.

Moderately Priced Week 11 DFS Stacks

Tennessee QB Marcus Mariota and TE Delanie Walker at Indianapolis

The Titans' offense has been on fire of late, and Mariota is the one fueling it. The second-year quarterback has thrown at least three touchdown passes in four of his last six games, including four this past Sunday in a rout of the Green Bay Packers.

Mariota spreads the ball around, with Rishard Matthews, Tajae Sharpe and Kendall Wright all garnering targets. However, Walker remains the preferred target and No. 1 stacking option with Mariota. There is plenty of upside in this road matchup against the Colts' 31st-ranked pass defense.

Jacksonville QB Blake Bortles and WR Allen Robinson at Detroit

Bortles and Robinson have been major fantasy disappointments, there's no denying that. However, recently the duo has put together solid performances. Bortles has passed for at least 250 yards and two touchdowns in each of his last three games.

Robinson has had at least six catches and 70 yards in those three games as well, with two total touchdowns. The Lions' pass defense has been average, but the Jaguars should be playing from behind, which further boosts the Bortles-Robinson upside.

Washington QB Kirk Cousins and TE Jordan Reed vs. Green Bay

After a nine-catch, 99-yard performance in his Week 8 return from a concussion, Reed was held in check this past Sunday (two catches, 41 yards). Look for that to change this Sunday night against a suddenly-vulnerable Packers secondary.

Green Bay was just gashed by Mariota, Walker and the rest of the Titans' offense last Sunday. In the terms of the weekly game narrative, Washington should also be motivated to exact a measure of revenge for Green Bay's wild-card win last season.

Bargain Week 11 DFS Stacks

San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick and WR Jeremy Kerley vs. New England

Here's an up-front warning about the two bargain stacks for Week 11: Neither is a safe option. But hey, sometimes it takes a bold move to win a GPP.

Kaepernick and the 49ers will certainly be playing from behind in this game, giving him ample opportunity to pile up garbage-time passing and rushing yards. Kerely had seven receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown last week, so he's the best stack with Kaepernick. It's risky, yes, but there is sneaky upside.

Cleveland QB Cody Kessler and WR Terrelle Pryor Sr. vs. Pittsburgh

Like the 49ers' duo, Kessler and Pryor will be playing from behind against the high-scoring Steelers. Kessler is riskier than Pryor, as the Browns have shown no ability to consistently stick with one quarterback this season.

But if he plays reasonably well (and lasts the entire game), he should connect with Pryor on a handful of big plays. This stack offers some upside, and it comes at a dirt-cheap price.
