Yahoo! Quarterback - Week 10 DFS Picks

Aaron Rodgers (at TEN, $39)

The Packers running game has been in shambles since Eddie Lacy went down with an ankle injury. As a result Rodgers has attempted 242 passes over his last five games. When opportunity meets talent is when you make all the money in DFS. The fact that the Titans have allowed over 260 yards per game helps, but isn't that important, as Green Bay will force their game plan onto Tennessee. After the brutal lose at home to Indianapolis, you better believe that the Packers will come out hungry and their stars will put up big numbers. Not only do I love Rodgers, but I also like the majority of his options at the skill positions as well.

Andy Dalton (at NYG, $30)

Sometimes you can't afford all of the best options and as a result you turn to a good option that is a little less expensive. Dalton is exactly that this week as he's $9 cheaper than Rodgers but in a similarly good matchup as he faces the Giants at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. I like the matchup because in spite of the buckets full of money that New York spent to upgrade it's defense, they're still allowing 277 passing yards per game, the eighth most in the league. Consider drafting Dalton and stacking him with a few of his teammates.

Yahoo! Running Backs - Week 10 DFS Picks

David Johnson (vs SF, $41)

This is about as no-brainer as it gets this week. As hard and humbling as NFL DFS can be sometimes, it's just as easy and obvious. Here we have arguably the most talented player in the NFL against the worst rush defense in the NFL. Thus far this season the 49ers have allowed 193 rushing yards per game. The next most is the 146.4 yards per game that the Browns allow. The best against the worst is the easiest layup you can get. Don't pass it up.

Melvin Gordon (vs MIA, $34)

If you've noticed a trend that I like to use running backs against the Dolphins' porous rush defense, than you're an astute gamer. Last week it was Matt Forte and this week it's Melvin Gordon, who faces The Fish at home in San Diego. After a career high 196 yards last week, I expect the Chargers to go back to the well early and often on Sunday afternoon. With the Fins allowing 136.1 yards per game, Melvin could again eclipse the century mark along with a TD or more.

Yahoo! Wide Receivers - Week 10 DFS Picks

AJ Green (at NYG, $37)

As I mentioned above, the Bengals are in for a big passing day as they face off against the Giants on Monday Night Football this week. The main receiving target will surely be AJ Green who has been a reliable option all season as he's posted a stellar 17.1 FPPG despite only scoring three times. I expect at least one score this week, but wouldn't be surprised to see two to three touchdowns along with a whole lot of yards. At $37 he's expensive, but well worth paying up for, so join me and get him into all of your lineups.

Cole Beasley (at PIT, $17)

Beasely has been consistently good this season as he's managed 12 FPPG and has never had less than 50 yards receiving in any game thus far. Along with Mike Evans they are the only two wide receivers in the NFL that can say that. This week the Cowboys will head into Pittsburgh to face the Steelers and a pass defense that has allowed 276 passing yards per game. All the while allowing less than 100 rushing yards per contest. Because of this I believe Dallas will have much more success through the air and Beasely will again go over 50 yards and maybe add in a touchdown.

Yahoo! Tight End - Week 10 DFS Picks

Virgil Green (at NO, $10)

This week I'm going back to Green. He is listed at the minimum price and faces the worst pass defense in the league. While I don't trust Trevor Semien, I do believe that even he will have success against the Saints in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. New Orleans allows 300 passing yards per game and 28.9 points per game. Green is by no means a game breaker, but he has been targeted an average of 4.4 times per game, which makes him a reliable value play. Because I'm spending big elsewhere I have no problem plugging in Virgil for three to four catches and 30-50 yards. If he gets into the end zone that's gravy on top.

Yahoo! Defense - Week 10 DFS Picks

Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST (vs DAL, $10)

I usually spend up for a great defense with a solid matchup or I go for a low priced option that should provide a few points on the cheap. This week I believe the Steelers fall into the latter category as they face the Cowboys at home. Not only does Pittsburgh need a win, but I believe they will come out looking to prove something after their loss last week in Baltimore. I think the Steelers will get that win or at least keep it close enough that their defense will make a play or two to affect the outcome of the game. Not only are they facing a rookie quarterback and running back, but they're doing so at home. This pick might backfire, but only twice have they put up less than four points this season. One of those games was against the Patriots. Plus, this is sure to be a contrarian pick, so if they do well I'll likely have them to myself.
