MLB Hitter Cheat Sheet (6/18/16): Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Picks

JB's MLB DFS hitters for 6/18/16- daily fantasy baseball cheat sheet and lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings GPPs and cash games.

Welcome to the weekend, RotoBallers. Today we have a rather strange full slate, split up between nine early games starting at 2:10 pm ET and five late games starting at 8:15 pm ET. Yes, if you did quick math, you would have noticed that only equals 14 games. This is because the CWS-CLE game, starting at 6:15 pm ET, is only available on the all-day slate. In the article below, I have highlighted offensive selections for each position that are light on the wallet today, but are poised to greatly exceed their low salaries in value. These players are not projected for the highest point totals of the day, but rather will give you the most bang for your buck.

That is the purpose of this article -- to provide you with the best value hitters available each day. Today I'll be bringing you seven value hitters for MLB Daily Fantasy Baseball on FanDuel and DraftKings for June 18th, 2016. Let's get rowdy.

Editor's Note: RotoBaller offers the best Premium MLB Subscription - only $1.99 per week. DFS Hitters - Lineup Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings

David Ross, CHC (C)

FanDuel: $2,200/ DraftKings: $2,600

Despite the long-awaited call up of top prospect Willson Contreras, David Ross should be the man behind the plate today for the Cubs, thanks to his boy Jon Lester on the mound. Ross is 3-8 over the past week, and owns an impressive .333/.475/.567 line versus southpaws this season. Jon Niese on the other hand, carries with him a 5.21 FIP and a rather unfortunate 21.2 HR/FB% in 2016.

Also Consider: Nick Hundley, COL

Adrian Gonzalez, LAD (1B)

FanDuel: $2,900/ DraftKings: $3,100

Chase Anderson is giving out bombs like they're going out of style. After allowing 18 HR all of last season, he has already served up 14 in just half the innings so far in 2016. Gonzalez has been a little weak in the power department, but tonight could be a good opportunity to put one in the bleachers. Gonzo is slashing .364/.563/.636 with a HR in 16 career PA against Anderson.

Also Consider: Logan Morrison, TB

Jose Peraza, CIN (2B)

FanDuel: $2,200/ DraftKings: $3,100

Peraza should once again draw a start today, allowing Brandon Phillips or Zack Cozart to DH as they continue their series in Houston. While Peraza has not been turning heads at the plate yet, he does have three SB in only six games at the big league level this season. He should have a good opportunity to get on base and add to that SB total against Keuchel, who is allowing a .347 wOBA to right handed hitters.

Also Consider: Scooter Gennett, MIL

Jefry Marte, LAA (3B)

FanDuel: $2,600/ DraftKings: $3,300

This guy can hit. The Angels have even moved his sub-par defense out to Left field to ensure his bat can stay active in the lineup. Since his call up in May, Marte is hitting .333 with a monstrous .714 SLG. He has already blasted three HR this month and today faces LHP Sean Manaea, who has disappointed since his own call up this season, going 2-4 with a 6.02 ERA through nine starts.

Also Consider: Travis Shaw, BOS

Trevor Story, COL (SS)

FanDuel: $3,000/ DraftKings: $4,400

Story has certainly cooled off after his historic first month in the big leagues, which has greatly reduced his price, especially on FanDuel. However, today he draws a match-up with LHP Wei-Yin Chen, who has served up seven HR in his last two starts. I don't like to try and guarantee homers, but the chances of Story going yard today are very high.

Also Consider: Zack Cozart, CIN

Steven Moya, DET (OF)

FanDuel: $2,000/ DraftKings: $2,500

With J.D. Martinez landing on the shelf for four to six weeks with a fracture in his elbow, Moya will look to capitalize on the opportunity for at bats following his call up yesterday. He has absolutely crushed AAA this season, hitting .298 with 13 HR and 13 doubles. This is a very cheap price for the potential production from Moya today versus Edinson Volquez.

David Peralta, ARI (OF)

FanDuel: $2,400/ DraftKings: $3,900

Peralta was on the disabled list for almost a month due to a wrist injury, which has allowed his price to drop well below his value, especially against a RHP. Jerad Eickhoff has pitched well this season, but Peralta hit .325 with 16 HR against righties last season and will be in the heart of the lineup today for the Diamondbacks. For FanDuel users, Peralta needs to be heavily used at this price.

Also Consider: Carlos Gomez, HOU
