Editor's Note: This article was written before Agholor's recent legal troubles began. 

When preparing for your 2016 fantasy football draft, it's important to have a list of undervalued sleepers to target in order to fill out your lineup. Every year, there is someone who outperforms initial expectations, and those fantasy players sharp enough to realize the potential are the ones who reap the benefits. Philadelphia Eagles Second-year wide receiver Nelson Agholor is one of my favorite sleepers to target in drafts this year.

Agholor was a first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, he missed three games during his rookie campaign due to injury and was not heavily utilized by the struggling Eagles offense. Agholor was targeted 44 times during his rookie season and finished with 23 catches for 283 yards and a touchdown.

Those numbers are hardly anything to make him fantasy-worthy, hence the reason that his low Average Draft Position, according to Fantasy Pros, Agholor is going off the board at 227 overall and 72 among all wide receivers.

So why should you take a chance and reach a bit on someone who is clearly being overlooked in early fantasy drafts?

That answer is easy -- he'll be playing in a new offense and will have a chance to showcase the talent that got him drafted at 20 overall in the 2015 NFL draft. Also, Agholor dealt with a high ankle sprain all last season and was clearly hindered by the injury throughout the season. Now fully healthy, he appears ready to break out in 2016.

Agholor played three seasons at USC and amassed 179 receptions for 2,571 yards and 20 touchdowns before leaving school early for the NFL. He was the best receiver for the Trojans in both 2013 and 2014 and was named an All-American as a junior after catching 104 balls for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Clearly, the talent is there, he just had little opportunity to show it last season with the Eagles.

Though he's fast, he doesn't posses blazing speed that can really take the top off a defense. Still, he has a knack for making big plays down the field. Agholor averaged 15.6 yards per catch in college and had 12.3 yards per catch with the Eagles last season. In fact, he had a higher yards per catch number than any current Eagles wide receiver.

He had two games last season in which he averaged over 20 yards per catch and had two games with over 60 total yards receiving. His lone touchdown came during a three-catch performance against Buffalo on December 13.

Entering 2016, Agholor won't be the top option in the Eagles passing attack, as Jordan Matthews is the No. 1 receiver and will draw most of the attention from defenses. Running Back Darren Sproles is a dangerous receiver out of the backfield, and Zach Ertz has quickly developed into a top tight end target. However, Agholor should be able to beat out both Josh Huff and newcomer Reuben Randle on the depth chart as the second wide receiver. Interestingly, Randle's current ADP has him at WR67 for wide receivers, 5 spots ahead of Agholor.

Looking at ADP, guys like Kendall Wright, Anquan Boldin, Mohamed Sanu, and James Jones are all being taken before Agholor. Opting for the promising sophomore over those listed should turn out to be a better decision by the time the season ends, in my opinion.

The biggest question mark for the Eagles on offense this year will be who the starting quarterback will be. Sam Bradford had his best statistical season a year ago, but is unhappy and demanded a trade in April. However, he is currently still on the team and battling for the starting job with Carson Wentz, the second pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Whoever ends up under center for the Eagle could have an impact on the ADP of Philadelphia's wide receivers, but regardless of who is throwing the passes, Agholor is still a great value in that wide receiver corps. With the potential that Agholor has, along with the potential of the new-look Philadelphia offense this season, it's not a stretch to think that he could have a chance to finish as a legitimate WR3 in standard leagues.

Watch to see what happens in training camp, but when Agholor does take over as the No. 2 receiver spot in Philadelphia, he will have a great chance to outperform his current draft position and be an impact player on fantasy football teams.
