DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 1/26/16

Be warned. There will be a plethora of Phoenix Suns on the radar for Tuesday’s slate. I guess that’s what happens when nearly half the roster is injured. But boy, that’s kind of scary.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 1/26/16. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays. Be sure to check out my podcast every Monday and Thursday right here at Rotoballer for all your DFS needs.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Damian Lillard (vs SAC, $9,300)

After a few bad performances, Lillard bounced back nicely over the weekend with a 36-point game against the lowly Lakers. He was able to exploit the team that allows the most fantasy points to opposing point guards. The team that gives up the second most fantasy points at the position? That’s just the fast paced Sacramento Kings. Lillard should have no problems attacking a Kings team on a back-to-back and coming off a double overtime game.

Ish Smith (vs PHO, $7,400)

Over his last seven games, Smith has scored at least 32 DraftKings points in all but five games. In those two games he did not, the Sixers were blown out by the Celtics and they won by 20 points against the Trailblazers, respectively. Phoenix is a team that has decided to play optional defense- the option being that they opt to not play defense- and they are a team that is all sorts of banged up. Look for Ish to run the floor efficiently when he is on the court.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

DeMar DeRozan (vs WAS, $8,300)

Every time Toronto balls against Washington, it seems like DeRozan pummels the Wizards. In three games this season against their divisional foes, he is averaging 30 points, six rebounds and three assists. Clearly he likes something in the Washington defense. With Kyle Lowry most likely being checked by John Wall, look for more of the offense to run through DeRozan.

Archie Goodwin (at PHI, $4,500)

Goodwin is still listed as a shooting guard on DraftKings and it is looking as if Brandon Knight is going to be out for Tuesday’s matchup in Philadelphia. Goodwin has played 39 and 41 minutes, respectively, in Phoenix’s last two games where he has started at the point, dropping a total of 68 DraftKings fantasy points. With all the injuries going on in the Phoenix locker room, Goodwin is a safe option to get his.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Kevin Durant (at NYK, $9,800)

There is something about Kevin Durant playing in Madison Square Garden, in the country’s largest media market, that makes me think that he will go HAM against the Knicks. Add in that Carmelo Anthony is reportedly dealing with some soreness in his surgically repaired knee and you have to wonder if he will be able to keep up with KD. My money is on no. No he will not.

P.J. Tucker (at PHI, $5,100)

Take a look at what is going with the Phoenix Suns right now, especially at the swing and in the front court. Tucker returned on Saturday and put up a nice stat line as several Suns were out of the lineup yet again. It also appears T.J. Warren is somewhat in the doghouse with head coach Jeff Hornacek- I know, surprise that Hornacek is upset with one of his guys- so Tucker is primed for a ton of minutes against a weak Philadelphia front court.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

DeMarcus Cousins (at POR, $11,000)

Is there really any explanation needed here? Boogie is en fuego right now. Watching him play on the court is just surreal. When defenders are trying to stop him, they look like hobbits from a Peter Jackson movie trilogy. There’s no reason to over think this matchup.

Kristaps Porzingis (vs OKC, $7,300)

I like Porzin-GOD tonight and if Melo doesn’t suit up (he most likely will), I like him even more tonight. The Latvian big man loves playing at home and the numbers show that. In just about the same minutes as on the road, Porzingis is averaging 15 points, eight boards and a little over one assist per game at The Garden. His advanced numbers are even better. On the road, his ORating is a mediocre 97 but that jumps up to a 108 at home. If Melo does not suit up, that 108 ORating should see some nice minutes and usage rates.

Markieff Morris (at PHI, $4,900)

You will have to keep an eye on the injury report for the Suns throughout the game. As of this writing, Morris is listed as questionable but it is becoming increasingly clearer that he will be available in Tuesday’s game against the Sixers. He hasn’t played any minutes since January 19th, so rust is a major concern. Still, he was on a bit of run before his injury and he will get the best frontcourt matchup in The Association.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Tyson Chandler (at PHI, $4,800)

Chandler wraps up this Phoenix Suns write-up, so let us never speak of it again. The dude appears to finally look healthy as he has grabbed 61 boards over his last three games. Philadelphia is giving up the seventh most rebounds to opponents on the season, so it could be a another monster rebounding game for Chandler. And with all the injuries listed on the Phoenix injury report, he should get plenty of minutes.

Salah Mejri (at LAL, $3,500)

If Zaza Pachulia does not play Tuesday night, then Mejri looks to be the biggest benefactor. He has logged serious minutes in two of his last three games, while recording 32 points and 21 rebounds during that span. And we love picking on the Lakers here at Rotoballer.
