Andre Ellington Expected To Play In Week 5

After suffering a PCL injury that caused him to miss he last three games, Andre Ellington is officially probable going into Week 5. Chris Johnson will start at running back for the Arizona Cardinals with Ellington looking to get third-down snaps.

Ellington was close to playing last week, but the Cards thought it was best to play it safe and keep him sidelined. He rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown before getting hurt in his Week 1 performance against the New Orleans Saints.

If you are desperate, Ellington could make for a decent flex option in PPR leagues. The Detroit Lions will have both of their starting defensive tackles out today, which could open up some screen plays and make an impact on 3rd-and-short plays as well.
