Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football waiver wire outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider adding off waivers in Week 6:
Samaje Perine, Cincinnati Bengals
Across five games so far in 2026, Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine has recorded 171 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 34 touches. The veteran back has largely operated as the clear RB2 in Cincinnati behind Bengals RB1 Chase Brown. However, Perine played a much larger role in the Cincinnati offense in Week 4, logging 78 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 16 touches.
At 31 years old and now in his 10th NFL season, Perine may not offer fantasy managers much high-end upside. Still, Brown is currently averaging just 3.5 yards per carry and has logged just one touchdown through five games. If the Bengals start to shift more work onto Perine's plate, he could have some standalone appeal in the right matchups while playing within Cincinnati's explosive offense. In deeper fantasy league formats, Perine could be worth targeting on the waiver wire coming out of Week 5.
Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker is coming off another decent performance this weekend. Tucker hauled in four of his five targets for 41 yards in the loss to the New England Patriots. Tucker finished second on the team in receptions behind tight end Brock Bowers during Sunday's loss.
The 25-year-old has finished with four receptions or more in each of the last four games. It hasn't resulted in a ton of value with 44 receiving yards or fewer in three straight games. There seems to be enough consistent value here to consider starting Tucker in deep leagues. He's not posting great numbers, but he's an interesting target for fantasy managers needing help at wide receiver.
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is worth targeting on waivers ahead of Week 6, with injuries potentially opening a larger role in the passing game. Kansas City returns from its bye with Tyquan Thornton (ankle) expected to land on injured reserve, while Rashee Rice (hamstring) remains day-to-day after exiting the Week 4 victory over Las Vegas. Worthy caught four of seven targets for a season-high 70 yards in that game, including a 41-yard reception, after totaling just 63 receiving yards over his first three contests.
The third-year receiver has managed only 14 catches for 133 yards and one touchdown through four games, so there are still legitimate concerns about his weekly consistency. Rice could also return against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, and Travis Kelce remains a significant part of the passing attack.
However, Thornton's extended absence creates an opportunity for Worthy to become more involved downfield. Rostered in 58% of leagues and ranked sixth overall on RotoBaller's Week 6 waiver-wire board, Worthy warrants an add in leagues with 10 or more teams and carries WR3/FLEX upside if his opportunities increase.
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans
Across five games so far in 2026, Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears has recorded 133 scrimmage yards and zero touchdowns on 31 touches. The 25-year-old has seen little usage as a rusher (17 carries), instead serving as the passing-downs complement to lead Titans back Tony Pollard.
However, there's a chance that Spears works his way into a larger role in Tennessee. Pollard is currently in his age-29 season and his final year under contract with the Titans. Given their 0-5 record and their need for young talent all over their roster, the Titans looking to move Pollard to a contender ahead of the trade deadline would be a logical decision. If that happens, Spears could emerge as the featured back in Tennessee. In deeper leagues, fantasy managers may want to consider stashing Spears off the waiver wire ahead of a potential Pollard trade.
Brian Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
After recording a career-high three rushing touchdowns in a Week 4 win over the Saints, Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Robinson became one of the most popular waiver pickups of the week, but he was unable to make a second straight fantasy contribution, rushing for only 16 yards in Sunday night's loss to the Ravens.
As one of fantasy's premier handcuffs behind All-Pro running back Bijan Robinson, the former Robinson remains roster-worthy in almost all formats and is a player managers should be on the watch for after the week's first wave of drops. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. (ribs) was injured late in the loss to the Ravens, and if veteran Tua Tagovailoa is forced into the starting role, the Falcons' entire offensive ceiling takes a hit, but in a Week 6 matchup with the Bears, both Robinsons should be able to find more open running lanes.
