Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 5:
Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman caught six of seven targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Patriots, and in a week that saw a number of top fantasy performers go down with injuries, the third-year wideout becomes a priority waiver target ahead of a primetime matchup with the Rams.
Teammate DJ Moore reaggravated the shoulder injury that has now knocked him out of two games and kept him limited in practice for the past two weeks. In both games that Moore left early, Coleman found himself on the receiving end of six Josh Allen passes, and if the veteran misses time, Coleman could become a necessary focal point of one of the league's most explosive offenses.
Romeo Doubs, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs is starting to get into a rhythm with quarterback Drake Maye after a rough start to the season, and he's worth a look if you need wide receiver help from the waiver wire. Doubs started the year with a tough drop and a zero-catch game in Seattle but has been looking more comfortable in the Pats' offense the last few weeks.
Against the Bills in Week 4, he led the team with six catches on a team-high nine targets, and he hauled in a pair of touchdowns to help his team pull off the road upset in the division. Doubs got some extra attention after Mack Hollins (calf) left the game with an injury, and he had a big fantasy performance as a result, even if Efton Chism III stole the headlines with his spectacular, game-winning touchdown grab.
With Hollins uncertain for this week's contest against the Raiders and A.J. Brown (ankle) not eligible to return until Week 6, Doubs is a strong plug-and-play option from the waiver wire if available. Even though the Raiders have been solid against wide receivers this season, Doubs should be in position to get enough volume to still be a starting option in most formats.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington was held to just one catch on three targets for seven scoreless yards in a 22-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. These were obviously all season-lows for Washington in 2026 thus far. It was a highly disappointing effort from Washington for fantasy managers with the breakout wide receiver in their lineups, but the Jaguars managed to get a win despite his lack of production.
Tight end Benton Strange led Jacksonville in receptions (seven) and receiving yards (95) on Sunday, while wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. caught quarterback Trevor Lawrence's lone touchdown pass on the day. Through four games, Washington leads the Jaguars in receptions with 16 on the season, and he has recorded two receiving touchdowns.
He will continue to be heavily involved in the passing game moving forward. Expect Washington to bounce back in a Week 5 matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles in London.
Tre' Harris, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Tre' Harris has been the team's leading receiver this season and could see an even bigger role in Week 5. Through four games, Harris has caught 13 of 21 targets for 209 yards, including more than 60 yards in back-to-back games. In last week's 30-23 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Harris played 66 of 71 snaps (93%) and ran 39 of 43 routes (91%), both leading the team.
With Ladd McConkey (foot) uncertain to play in Week 5, Harris could become Justin Herbert's clear number one receiver. With the Denver Broncos next up and star cornerback Pat Surtain (ankle) unlikely to play, Harris could be in line for a solid outing in Week 5. Fantasy managers should add Harris as both a short-term and long-term option this season.
Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks should see an expanded role in the offense with DeVonta Smith (hamstring) sidelined. In Week 4, Wicks caught just three of five targets for 18 yards in the 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, facing a tough matchup against cornerback Trent McDuffie. Despite the off game, he played 56 of 61 snaps (92%) and ran 31 of 32 routes (97%).
With injuries to running backs Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and Tank Bigsby (core), along with Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), Wicks may be the only target left in this depleted offense. He faces the Jacksonville Jaguars' defense in London, which has allowed the most receiving yards to wide receivers in 2026, including big games for Tee Higgins and Jaylen Waddle in two of the last three weeks.
Given the Eagles' significant number of offensive injuries, Wicks could be a strong FLEX play in Week 5 and should be rostered in all formats.
