The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at the San Diego Naval Base Coronado on Friday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming Anduril 250 on Sunday afternoon.
The 38-car field was split into two groups for practice.

Important Practice Notes
Christopher Bell - With Bell's broken wrist, Joe Gibbs Racing has Brent Crews on standby in case he is needed on Sunday. Crews logged a few practice laps near the end of the session. Bell mentioned it would be a decision during the race on whether he gets out of the car on Sunday.

Kevin Magnussen - Kevin Magnussen is driving the No. 91 Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing this weekend. He slammed into the wall hard late during the practice session.
Jimmie Johnson - Late in practice, Jimmie Johnson spun out to avoid getting into the wall. He is driving the No. 84 Toyota for Legacy Motor Club this weekend.
