Derrick Jones Jr. Won't Return on Sunday
Los Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics. The 28-year-old logged 11 minutes. Unfortunately, that's all fantasy managers would get out of Jones before he suffered a knee injury caused by a loose ball dive by Jaylen Brown. He needed assistance off the floor, and his next step will likely be further testing to determine the extent of his condition. Jones has started in all 12 of the Clippers' contests this season, averaging 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks. With that said, Los Angeles is already dealing with its share of injuries, so adding another name to an extensive list isn't good news for the four-win team. Bogdan Bogdanovic replaced him and could potentially see some action with the starting lineup moving ahead.
