Los Angeles Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper (lower body) is considered day-to-day. He was unable to practice on Wednesday due to a lower-body injury and might be unavailable for Thursday's matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins. While it doesn't appear that Kuemper is dealing with anything serious, the Kings traded for Pheonix Copley on Thursday as a precaution, bringing back their former goalie from the Tampa Bay Lightning. Anton Forsberg is also an option between the sticks, and the Kings have recalled Erik Portillo from the minors ahead of Thursday's game. Kuemper had an impressive year in 2024-25, but he is winless in three starts this season, allowing an average of 3.35 goals with a .868 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk
