Week 4 is upon us and for the 2025 season, and it's time to start the right QB in your lineups. Here is a late-week look at the top fantasy football quarterbacks available in most leagues, that make for prime one-week streaming candidates off the waiver wire.

Top Quarterback Streamers for Week 4

Marcus Mariota (WAS) @ Atlanta Falcons

Washington Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota will start again in place of Jayden Daniels in Week 4 against the Falcons after making his first start of the season last week against the Raiders. Mariota led his team to a 41-24 win against one of his former teams and now will look to do the same on the road against another one of his former teams.

He was super crisp in his first action since Week 18 of last season, completing 15 of 21 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown while running for 40 yards on six carries. It will be a tougher challenge this time as he will be missing star wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) and faces an Atlanta defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season at 12.3.

Washington will likely follow a similar game plan to last week against Las Vegas, where they went very run-heavy, especially with multiple receivers out. He's not a recommended start in matchups this week.

Geno Smith (LV) vs Chicago Bears

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith enters Week 4 with a strong opportunity to post QB1 numbers against the struggling Chicago Bears defense. Chicago has allowed 247.7 passing yards per game while ranking 27th in total defense and 26th against the pass, creating an inviting matchup for fantasy managers.

Smith is coming off a sharp performance in Week 3 where he threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns, showing clear chemistry with his receiving corps. With the Bears' secondary routinely giving up big plays, Smith carries both a safe floor and a sneaky-high ceiling this week. He should be started confidently as a low-end QB1 in all fantasy formats.

Matthew Stafford (LAR) vs Indianapolis Colts

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has played quite well this season and should continue to rank as a mid-to-low fantasy QB2 for this week's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Stafford has 739 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions so far, ranking 17th among quarterbacks in fantasy points. His productivity has been aided by big plays from star receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams (hamstring).

He should pick up right where he left off this weekend, despite a matchup against the 3-0 Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have played quite well so far, but two of their three games have been against winless teams, and their third was against a 1-2 Broncos squad.

The Rams are easily the toughest team the Colts have faced, and Stafford should be able to find some success through the air. A lack of rushing prowess limits Stafford's upside, but he's still a must-start in two-quarterback leagues. RotoBaller's experts have the veteran ranked as the overall QB18 this week.

C.J. Stroud (HOU) vs Tennessee Titans

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud will look to get the offense in gear in a favorable matchup in Week 4 against the Titans. Stroud and the Texans have slipped to 0-3 coming into Sunday's matchup with the 0-3 Titans. The offense has seemed stuck in neutral under new offensive coordinator Nick Caley, ranking 29th in the NFL in yards per game at 267.3. and 25th in the league with 172.3 passing yards per game.

Stroud has thrown for right around 200 yards in each game with a total of two touchdowns and three interceptions. The offensive line is definitely part of the problem, but Stroud has also struggled. Facing the Titans could be a nice "get right" spot for Stroud. The Titans rank 25th in the league in DVOA against the pass and have allowed 31.3 points per game, the third-highest mark in the league.

Stroud is the QB17 in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings, making him a strong QB2 play in the matchup, even though he's still not a good option at all for single-quarterback leagues.

Jaxson Dart (NYG) vs Los Angeles Chargers

New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart enters his first career NFL start as an intriguing but risky fantasy option at home against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4. The Chargers present a difficult test, boasting the league's top-ranked red zone defense (25% TD rate) while allowing the 11th-fewest fantasy points (14.21 FPPG) to opposing quarterbacks through the first three weeks.

However, Los Angeles has been susceptible through the air, surrendering the second-most passing yards per game (270), which could create opportunities for the rookie after a sharp preseason where he posted a 113.1 passer rating without an interception. Ultimately, Dart's fantasy value is significantly buoyed by his aggressive rushing style, demonstrated by his 52 yards and a touchdown in the preseason, establishing a solid floor that makes him a viable QB2 this week.
