Khalil Herbert Joins Seahawks Practice Squad
Khalil Herbert to their practice squad, according to The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta. The move comes after Zach Charbonnet (foot) missed the team's blowout win over the visiting New Orleans Saints in Week 3 on Sunday. The 27-year-old Herbert will provide additional backfield depth for Seattle if Charbonnet is forced to miss more time, starting with this Thursday night's tilt against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals. With Charb out last weekend, George Holani was the primary backup to the oft-injured Kenneth Walker III. Herbert played with the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals in 2024, finishing with only 130 rushing yards and a touchdown on 36 carries while catching 10 passes for 25 yards in 14 games. He'll only find his way onto the fantasy radar if both Walker and Charbonnet are on the shelf at the same time.
