Atlanta Falcons tackle Storm Norton (ankle) is looking at a six-to-eight week recovery timeline from ankle surgery, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Falcons placed Norton on Injured Reserve in late August, so the earliest he could return is for the team's fifth game of the season in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills. Norton's status is particularly critical for the Falcons because the team will be without starting right tackle Kaleb McGary (leg) for the entirety of 2025. With McGary and Norton both sidelined, third-string right tackle Elijah Wilkinson will be protecting quarterback Michael Penix Jr.'s blindside in the early part of the season for Atlanta.--Will Brady
