Aidan Smith Extends Power Surge
Aidan Smith continued his impressive power run on Thursday evening. Facing High-A Greenville, Smith went 4-for-5 with two home runs and a stolen base. Over his last 10 contests, the fifth--ranked prospect in the Tampa Bay system has posted a .395/.439/.658 slash line with one double, three home runs, eight stolen bases, and a 9:3 K:BB. Overall, the outfielder sits with a modest .236/.329/.394 line across his first extended taste of High-A this season. However, Smith has clearly been taking the next steps and is flashing immense power and speed upside. Given his late-season surge, fantasy managers should expect the Rays to bump him up to Double-A during the first half of the 2026 season.
