Albert Suarez Expected to Begin Rehab Assignment
Albert Suarez (shoulder) is expected to start a rehab assignment on Tuesday or Wednesday, reports Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. The 35-year-old made just one appearance this year, on March 28, before suffering a right subscapularis strain in his throwing shoulder. While it's good to finally see him throwing again, his rehab stint is likely to be a lengthy one if the plan is to use him as a starting pitcher. With less than two months left in the season, time is running out for Suarez to make an impact in 2025. The other option would be to use him in some type of relief role, but either way, he is an afterthought for fantasy purposes.
