Ben Casparius Earns Second Save
Ben Casparius was called upon in a big situation during Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Initially, Blake Treinen was tasked with closing the door, but he experienced some troubles. Treinen recorded two outs, but allowed a hit and a pair of walks. After that, manager Dave Roberts decided to go with Casparius to get the final out of the ballgame. He was able to retire Yandy Diaz and earn his second save of the season. The Dodgers are still without Kirby Yates (back) and Tanner Scott (elbow) right now. Treinen has been struggling, so maybe Casparius gets more save chances going forward. He's someone to keep an eye on over the next week or so.
