Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander (shoulder) has been making much slower progress than expected, but there is progress being made, reports Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca. It's a tiny bit encouraging to hear some progress is being made, but based on prior reports, he is still at least one week away from even being cleared to swing a bat. The 30-year-old hasn't played since May 30 due to a left shoulder subluxation and has been stuck in this same spot in his rehab for over a month. It's looking more and more like a lost season for the slugger, who batted just .179 with six home runs in 50 games prior to his injury.--Jeremy Heist
