Kyle Higashioka Still Out on Monday
Kyle Higashioka (hamstring) will miss his fifth straight game Monday as he continues dealing with a hamstring strain. Jonah Heim will start behind the plate and hit ninth against Los Angeles Angels right-hander Jack Kochanowicz. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy told reporters that Higashioka should return to the starting lineup Tuesday. After popping a career-high 17 home runs a year ago, Higashioka has totaled just four in 196 plate appearances this season. The 35-year-old has hit .253/.301/.368 with 25 RBI, 16 runs scored, and three stolen bases.
