Reese Olson Out for Rest of Regular Season
Reese Olson (shoulder) was placed on the 60-day injured list on Monday. This move means Olson will be sidelined at least through the rest of the regular season. It is possible that Olson makes a return for the postseason, but he can safely be dropped in fantasy formats. Olson didn't appear to be dealing with an injury, but a shoulder strain might explain his lack of command during his most recent outing. He'll finish the season with a 3.15 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and a 65/25 K/BB ratio across 13 starts. Newly acquired Chris Paddack figures to take over the vacant spot in the starting rotation.
