White Sox Want Mark Vientos for Luis Robert Jr.
Luis Robert Jr. to the New York Mets, they're going to want third baseman/designated hitter Mark Vientos in return, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today. The Mets are known to have interest in Robert, who has struggled this year but is currently enjoying his best month of the season as the White Sox prepare to deal him. Robert has gone 13-for-37 with two homers, nine RBI, 10 runs scored, and four stolen bases in July. Acquiring the former All-Star would take care of the Mets' need for a righty-hitting outfielder. However, it's unclear whether they're willing to give up the 25-year-old Vientos to make it happen. Vientos burst on the scene with 27 home runs last season, but he has fallen short of expectations in 2025. Over 279 plate appearances, Vientos has hit .226/.280/.358 with six homers, 27 RBI, and 22 runs scored.
