Packers Reach Four-Year Extension With Zach Tom
The Green Bay Packers and offensive tackle Zach Tom agreed to a four-year, $88 million contract extension on Monday with a maximum value of $92 million, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The deal includes a $30.2 million signing bonus, which is the largest signing bonus for an offensive lineman in NFL history. It's a big-time investment in the 26-year-old offensive lineman that was drafted in the fourth round (140th overall) back in the 2022 NFL draft out of Wake Forest. Tom played in only nine games (five starts) in his rookie season but has since played in every game for the Packers the last two seasons while developing into one of the best right tackles in the league.
