Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher Matt Strahm recorded his sixth save of the season in a 2-1 win over the Padres on Sunday. He allowed two walks, but didn't give up any hits and ultimately left the inning unscathed. Orion Kerkering came in for Cristopher Sanchez in the eighth inning, getting the last two outs of the frame without allowing any runs. This was Strahm's first save since June 29, but that was mainly due to a lack of opportunity. Both Kerkering and Jordan Romano have gone even longer without a save, so it looks like Strahm is holding the top spot in that bullpen for now. The 33-year-old posted a 3.29 ERA with 44 strikeouts and 12 walks in 38 ⅓ innings in the first half.--Jeremy Heist
