Luis Urias Activated, Zack Gelof Optioned
Luis Urias (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list before their contest on Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays. In a corresponding move, the Athletics optioned second baseman Zack Gelof to Triple-A Las Vegas. Urias suffered this injury on July 2 but was able to make a quick return to the starting nine. Before his injury, Urias was carrying a .227/.244/.227 line with just 10 total hits (all singles) across his last 12 games. Gelof made his season debut earlier in July but has posted an underwhelming .080/.143/.080 line with a .223 OPS through eight games. Fantasy managers should expect Urias to see most of the opportunities at the keystone during the second half. With Urias returning, this could also limit Max Muncy's starting opportunities as well.
