Adam Mazur Sharp in Return to Triple-A
Adam Mazur was sharp in his return to Triple-A on Tuesday evening. Mazur was promoted to make his season debut in Miami on June 18 against the Phillies. In this outing, Mazur allowed four runs and five hits across 5 2/3 innings. However, the right-hander looked rather impressive in his return to Jacksonville. Facing Nashville, Mazur tossed six shutout innings. He allowed four hits and no walks. He struck out six. After struggling at the Triple-A level last summer, the No. 12-ranked prospect in the system has begun to take a significant step forward. Through 65 2/3 innings, Mazur has struck out 61 batters while holding a 3.29 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. Fantasy managers should expect him to be in the mix to return to Miami in the second half.
