Cody Bradford Could Return in Early July
Cody Bradford says that Texas Rangers left-hander Cody Bradford (elbow) could return from the injured list in early July. Bradford has yet to pitch in 2025 due to a sprained left elbow, but he's apparently making progress and could rejoin the big-league roster before the All-Star break in mid-July. The 27-year-old southpaw has been throwing off a mound for several weeks and could soon be cleared to go on a minor-league rehab assignment. Bradford made the team's Opening Day rotation last year and was looking great before missing 16 weeks with a stress reaction in his rib cage. He wasn't as good when he returned, but he was still serviceable for fantasy managers and finished with a 3.54 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 70:13 K:BB in 76 1/3 innings. Bradford's strikeout upside isn't off the charts, but his excellent control is what makes him interesting for fantasy purposes.
