Bo Naylor Bashes Eighth Homer
Bo Naylor went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-2 win over the visiting Houston Astros. He added two singles and scored twice. The former first-round pick was in the thick of the action all game. Naylor gave the Guardians their first lead of the contest when he obliterated a hanging Brandon Walter sweeper 429 feet over the right-field wall to make it 2-0 in the bottom of the second. Then, in the seventh, he picked up his third hit of the contest and scored Cleveland's second run of the inning on a Steven Kwan sac fly to make it 4-2. The 25-year-old has been dreadful this season (.187 average) and had just one hit in his last 26 at-bats entering the matchup. Maybe this three-hit outburst is enough to shake him loose.
