JP Sears Has Another Strong Performance
JP Sears was once again sharp on the mound during Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins. The left-hander went 6 1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits, while striking out two batters. Sears isn't the biggest name out there, but he was quietly put together a strong season. Over his last four starts, Sears has posted a 1.95 ERA while allowing two earned runs or less in all those outings. Overall, Sears has a 2.93 ERA with a 32/6 K/BB ratio across seven starts. He has been a popular waiver wire pickup over the last few weeks. He'll have a tough matchup ahead of him against the New York Yankees next week.
