The inaugural Crown Tournament has had a few clunkers in it, but how about the Butler-Utah and Georgetown-Washington State games? UCF and Oregon State were one of the better games I've watched in the last six weeks. There is excitement to be found in the desert while we wait patiently for the most loaded Final Four in history.
The Crown heads to the semifinals tonight with the four winners from Monday facing off today. We have two Big East teams in here, along with Boise State. That makes for a nice selection in DFS. Then we get Nebraska. There has to be something there, right?

Brice Williams, Nebraska ($9.9K)

Georgetown's Micah Peavy is preparing for the NBA Draft, but Williams is strutting his stuff in Vegas for some more pro scouts. He helped his draft stock again on Monday night. Peavy's absence has me feeling good about Williams tonight since Georgetown's best defender won't be on the court.
Williams has only had one bad game since the end of January. It just happened to be at the worst time. If Nebraska had beaten rival Iowa, it would have landed in the Big Ten Tournament. Then ... who knows? The Crown gives us another chance to watch Williams, who was overshadowed on last year's NCAA Tournament team.
Malik Mack, Georgetown ($7.8K)
Predictably, Mack went for a career-high 37 points (55.75 DraftKings points) due to Peavy skipping the Crown. Don't expect another slate-breaking performance against the Nebraska defense, but Mack should easily perform well enough to satisfy this price point.
Curtis Williams Jr., Georgetown ($4.2K)
Williams played 39 minutes against Washington State, thanks to the absence of Peavy and Jayden Epps. There is no word on why Epps missed Monday's game. If he's out again, Williams is a great value play at this price, based on minutes alone.

If he entered the transfer portal at any point in his career, he could’ve commanded offers far greater than what he received at #BoiseState.

Degenhart is a unicorn in the NIL era. He spent his entire career at Boise when he could have netted a big payday elsewhere. He'll be playing his final games as a Bronco in this tournament and will likely use it to showcase his potential at the next level.
Degenhart scored 19 points on Monday and is now just 32 points shy of the program's single-season record. His season-high in points is ... 32 points against New Mexico on February 19. Is it serendipity? Regardless, Degenhart is the best play of the night.
Pierre Brooks II, Butler ($8K)
Jahmyl Telfort opted out to prepare for the draft. That left plenty of room for Brooks to have one of his best games of the season. Brooks put up 38.25 DraftKings points in the win over Utah. Boise is a little better up front, but this offense is still going to run through Brooks.
Caleb Williams, Georgetown ($3.8K)
You know, I would prefer that DraftKings didn't completely demolish any leverage by underpricing players this badly. Drew Fielder and Thomas Sorber are both out, so Williams is the only natural forward for the Hoyas. He played 34 minutes and racked up 31 DraftKings points on Monday.
He's going to do it again. Don't get cute. DraftKings made sure that we have to play him at this price.
