Free-agent cornerback Carlton Davis III has agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract with the New England Patriots, according to ESPN. The deal includes $34.5 million in total guarantees. Davis is a former second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Auburn and was traded to the Detroit Lions last offseason. Overall, the 28-year-old has collected 380 tackles (310 solo), 11 interceptions, 84 pass deflections, four forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, and 17.5 run stuffs in 89 career games.
