Caleb Durbin 2025 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Steals Source For Deep Leagues
Caleb Durbin was traded from the Yankees this offseason and will be looking to win a starting job out of spring training. In the minors in 2024, he slashed .275/.388/.451 with 10 home runs and 31 stolen bases in 90 games. Speed is the name of his game, and he has the potential to be a 40-steal threat in the majors with everyday playing time. Although he will begin the year with second base eligibility for fantasy, he is competing to win the Brewers' third base job. His main competition is Oliver Dunn, and even if he doesn't win the job outright, there's a good chance of a platoon. ATC is projecting him to slash .238/.317/.356 with five home runs, 30 RBI, 34 runs, and 14 stolen bases in 296 plate appearances. He is being drafted outside the top 400, so he is only an extremely deep league play if you need steals.
