Mike Tauchman Remains Out on Saturday
Mike Tauchman (groin) remains out of the starting nine on Saturday when the White Sox continue a series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Tauchman was held out of action on Friday as well. The outfielder suffered this injury during Thursday's game. Before his injury, Tauchman held a modest .192/.242/323 line with a double, home run, and a 10:2 K:BB over his last nine games. This afternoon, the White Sox will give Austin Slater the starting nod. Slater will cover right field and will bat in the eight-hole. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Tauchman as he may need a stint on the injured list if this injury continues to linger. The White Sox are worth a look in DFS facing Toronto right-hander Jose Berrios, who holds a 3.81 ERA.
