NFL DFS Lineup Picks For FanDuel, DraftKings - Seahawks vs. Bears TNF Showdown (Week 17)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Koby has his top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings for tonight's Seahawks vs. Bears showdown slate for Week 17.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and made some dough on the Christmas slate. The grind doesn't stop, however, as we have a big game for the Seahawks as they are still fighting for a playoff spot. The Seattle Seahawks (8-7) travel to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears (4-11).

We have been pretty successful with these showdown slates, and hopefully, that trend will continue from last year into this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with an in-depth analysis regarding positional matchups.

I will provide you with my daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Seahawks vs. Bears NFL DFS showdown slate on December 26. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If you have any questions, you can follow me on X @DFSKoby and fire away, or sign up for a premium RotoBaller NFL package and chat with me and other NFL DFS analysts whenever you'd like!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

MVP/Captain Plays

Jaxon Smith-Njigba - WR, Seattle Seahawks - $15.3K (DK), $15K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 126 targets, 93 receptions. 1,089 receiving yards, six touchdowns

JSN has been phenomenal this season and has taken over as the WR1 in this offense. He has 70+ yards in seven straight games and five touchdowns in that same time. The Bears have been bleeding fantasy points to opposing WRs across the last four weeks, too.

He gets a solid matchup against Kyler Gordon in the slot, who is giving up .20 FP per route run this season. With the Seahawks' playoff hopes on the line, I expect JSN to continue his tear.

Caleb Williams - QB, Chicago Bears - $14.4K (DK), $14K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 314 completions, 3,271 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, five interceptions, 442 rushing yards

Caleb Williams has benefited the last seven weeks by playing from behind, as he has thrown the ball 30+ times in six of those seven weeks and scored 15+ FP in five of the previous seven. He gets a tough matchup against the Seahawks defense, but like I said before, if they get down early, they will give Williams the green light to chuck the ball. That could lead to a 20+ FP performance for him.

Other Captains/MVPs: DJ Moore, Zach Charbonnet, Geno Smith

DFS Flex Plays

DJ Moore- WR, Chicago Bears - $10K (DK), $10.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 122 targets, 83 receptions, 826 receiving yards, five touchdowns

What is this price on FD? DraftKings is a bit pricy but I love this spot for Moore on FD, as he has scored double-digit fantasy points in six straight games. He has been targeted 63 times in the last six weeks, which is absurd.

The Seahawks are giving up the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season. I believe we are getting wild value on FD for Moore and I think he should be highly targeted in this one.

Zach Charbonnet - RB, Seattle Seahawks - $8.4K (DK), $11K (FD)

Keep an eye on this one, as it looks like Kenneth Walker III may not play in this one. That is fine, as Zach Charbonnet has been great in games without him. Charbonnet is dealing with an elbow issue, but it doesn't seem too serious and he should play.

Charbonnet has scored 13+ fantasy points in all four of Walker's absences this season, including a massive 41 FP in Week 14 and a 25 FP performance in Week 3. The Bears also have been getting torched by RBs this season, giving up the fourth-most FP on the season and the second-most across the last four weeks. Whoever starts for the Seahawks this week should be in for a big night!

Other Flex Options: DK Metcalf, Rome Odunze, D'Andre Swift

DFS Value Plays

Noah Fant / AJ Barner - TE, Seattle Seahawks - $3.6K/3K (DK), $7.5K/7K (FD)

Noah Fant is currently questionable to play in this one; hence, I have AJ Barner listed here as well. They are very similar in price but they are also dirt cheap. They have seen a few targets recently, and in games where Fant hasn't played, Barner played in 80% of the snaps.

Geno Smith seems to be looking to Barner in the end zone more often, too, as he has scored two times in four games. If Fant is out, Barner is a decent value play for GPPs.

Rome Odunze - WR, Chicago Bears - $7K (DK), $9.5K (FD)

The Bears have quite the lack of value on this slate, as outside of Cole Kmet, there aren't many other players I would choose from for value. Rome Odunze gets a solid matchup against Josh Jobe, who is giving up .27 FP per route run this season.

With Devon Witherspoon likely on Keenan Allen all night, I expect Moore and Odunze to be the primary targets for Williams, who should be throwing quite a bit in this one.

Other Value Plays: Cole Kmet, Jason Myers, Tyler Lockett

Enjoy your week, and good luck, everyone!
