NFL Week 13 Fantasy Football Weather Report

Josh Allen - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Adam's Week 13 NFL weather report for fantasy football (2024). He looks at which NFL games will be affected by weather to make key fantasy start/sit decisions.

In the NFL, weather can significantly impact games, particularly as we head into the colder months of November, December, and January. In this article, we will examine how various weather elements could influence the games scheduled for Week 13 of the 2024 season and what implications this may have.

We will rely on the most accurate and up-to-date weather forecasts for each stadium from AccuWeather, a source that provides comprehensive weather maps. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed/direction, and visibility can play a crucial role in shaping game outcomes and statistics.

Our goal with this article is to assist you in making informed decisions for your fantasy teams and other betting activities, allowing you to capitalize on opportunities or navigate challenges posed by weather dynamics. Here is your comprehensive fantasy football weather report for Week 13 of the 2024 season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)

Some games in Week 13 will benefit from being played in domed stadiums, where the weather won't affect the outcome. These indoor venues provide a consistent environment.

Los Angeles Chargers at Atlanta Falcons
Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings
Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints

Minimal Weather Impact

These outdoor games in Week 13 don't appear to have very many weather concerns.

Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (Friday, 11/29 at 3:00 p.m. ET)

Newly appointed starter Aidan O'Connell and the Las Vegas Raiders travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Black Friday. It'll be a chilly one, with temperatures expected to be around freezing in the late afternoon. However, winds will be light at just 7 miles per hour (mph) with 15 mile-per-hour gusts and a 0% chance of precipitation. Expect a big game on the ground for both Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt in this one.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, 12/1 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It'll be a cold one at Paycor Stadium on Sunday for a good 'ole divisional showdown between the Steelers and Bengals. Highs are expected to be in the low 30s with winds gusting up to 21 mph. The average high in Cincinnati around this time of year is 48 degrees, and it's expected to feel like the mid-20s on Sunday.

It'll be brisk; however, there's only a 17% chance of precipitation throughout the game. With an over/under of 47 points, the sportsbooks also believe the weather impacts will be minimal.

Of note, Joe Burrow has yet to play in very cold weather this season. His passing yards prop (260.5) is set slightly below his season average (275.3). With Tee Higgins back, it's hard to outright bench Burrow, but this is something to watch and take note of nonetheless.

Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots (Sunday, 12/1 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

The Colts are traveling to Foxborough to take on the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Again, the theme of this weekend is that it'll be cold, but that won't have much of an effect on this game, either, considering winds will be light and there isn't likely to be any precipitation. Could this be a "get-right" game for Jonathan Taylor against a Patriots team allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season?

Seattle Seahawks at New York Jets (Sunday, 12/1 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It'll be clear, cold, and just a bit breezy when Geno Smith and the Seahawks take on Aaron Rodgers and the Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Winds will be out of the west-southwest at 9 mph with gusts up to 18 mph. With just a very small 9% chance of precipitation, it doesn't appear as if there will be any weather concerns in this game. It should be a tight one, with Seattle currently just a two-point favorite.

Tennessee Titans at Washington Commanders (Sunday, 12/1 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

See the Seahawks vs. Jets write-up above. The forecast in Landover, Maryland is nearly identical to that of East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday. Despite the nice weather, look for the Titans to establish the run with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears against a Commanders defense that allows the fourth-most rushing yards per game this season (145).

It could be the same for the Commanders, with the Titans allowing the fewest passing yards per game to their opponents this season. With Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) and Austin Ekeler (concussion) iffy to play, we could be looking at Jeremy McNichols as a potential fill-in.

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 12/1 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

If you're the Houston Texans and used to playing indoors, you couldn't ask for better weather than this. It'll be "chilly" for Jacksonville, Florida standards with highs in the mid-60s. Winds will be calm and it'll be partly sunny for the duration of the game. Joe Mixon and Nico Collins could have a field day against the lowly Jaguars on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 12/1 at 4:05 p.m. ET)

The Bucs travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium and you couldn't ask for better football weather. Highs in the low-50s, very little wind (5-10 mph), and just a 9% chance of precipitation. Bryce Young looked really good last week against the Chiefs and could surprise a few more people with a strong follow-up performance at home in Week 13. Fire up your usual suspects (Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, and Chuba Hubbard) in this one.

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens (Sunday, 12/1 at 4:25 p.m. ET)

It'll be a little breezy at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore when the Ravens host the Eagles. Sustained winds are forecasted to be around 12 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. The real feel will hover just above freezing but it'll be partly sunny conditions throughout the game.

The sportsbooks aren't concerned about the wind whatsoever, as this game features the highest over/under on the Week 13 slate at 51 points. Expect fireworks in this one that features not one, not two, but three MVP candidates in Lamar Jackson, Saquon Barkley, and Jalen Hurts.

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos (Monday, 12/2 at 8:15 p.m. ET)

Another game with a crystal-clear forecast. The Browns are used to battling winds in Cleveland, but they won't have to do so on Monday night in Denver, where winds will be extremely calm. The forecast also calls for just a 6% chance of precipitation. Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton have been balling and should continue to do so Monday night against the Browns. But don't sleep on the recent Jameis Winston-Jerry Jeudy connection, either.

Severe Weather Impact

Let's focus on matchups where weather conditions could substantially influence the game.

San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills (Sunday, 12/1 at 8:20 p.m. ET)

Finally, a game with some weather concerns. There is currently a lake effect snow warning in Orchard Park, New York between Friday, Nov. 29 at 7:00 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. The forecast calls for 1-3 inches of snow to fall on Sunday after 4-8 inches on Saturday.

However, as of this article on Friday morning, it appears that most of the snowfall will be done by Sunday night. But with lake effect snow, you just never know what you're going to get, so stay tuned to the forecast.

Even if it's not snowing heavily, we should expect to see some precipitation during the game, with the probability above 65% for the night. It'll also be windy, with gusts up to 25-30 mph. It'll feel like it's in the teens and visibility could be a concern.

With Brandon Allen likely getting another start for the 49ers, we should be downgrading all 49ers pass-catchers in this one. Josh Allen, on the other hand, has more experience in these types of conditions. Even still, we should downgrade guys like Amari Cooper and Khalil Shakir if the conditions turn out to be worse than anticipated on Sunday night at Highmark Stadium.

Stay tuned as these weather factors unfold, shaping the narrative of Week 13 in the NFL. It's shaping up to be a beautiful, but cold day across most of the country.
