Jaylen Warren is a 2024 fantasy football draft sleeper at running back. Target Jaylen Warren as a handcuff RB in fantasy football drafts.
BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~100 Overall
CURRENT ADP: ~89
ANALYSIS: Last season, Jaylen Warren had a productive year as the Steelers’ backup running back, averaging 11.6 fantasy points per game (PPR scoring) and finishing as the RB22. Now, because of his impressive finish to the 2023 season, Warren is being slightly overrated going into 2024.
It is important to remember that Warren is still the backup running back, and Najee Harris will remain the team’s starter for the foreseeable future. Last season, Harris started all 17 games for the Steelers and had 255 rush attempts compared to Warren’s 154.
Although Warren was slightly more efficient than Harris (5.3 Y/A compared to 4.1), the Steelers' offense continued to roll with Harris all season long, especially in the red zone, resulting in Harris scoring eight touchdowns compared to Warren’s four.

Warren is a talented player and could be valuable on your fantasy team, but his ceiling is limited due to his low volume (especially in scoring situations). Avoid taking Warren at his ADP, but consider him a value pick near the end of your draft.
