PROSPECT: Tre' Morgan, 1B, Tampa Bay Rays
CURRENT LEVEL: High-A
2024 STATS: 35G, .361 AVG, .452 OBP, .534 SLG, 3 HR, 14 SB, 8.7% BB%, 11.3% K%, .403 wOBA
ANALYSIS: Tre' Morgan, the Tampa Bay Rays first base prospect, has been on a rapid ascent this season. His scorching performance earned him a well-deserved promotion to High-A on May 15, a testament to his exceptional skills and potential.
Morgan opened the season with Single-A Charleston and showcased his superb raw hitting talent by tallying 32 hits in just 26 games. In addition, he showed a strong eye at the plate with a 10:13 BB:K ratio. This production was very similar to what he did in Single-A last summer, with an incredible .389 AVG and an 8:2 BB:K ratio.

In his first nine games at High-A, Morgan has yet to hit a roadblock as he is riding a .485/.595/.818 line with one long ball, one swiped bag, and 16 total hits.
Morgan is ranked as the 13th overall prospect in the Tampa Bay system on MLB Pipeline and is not projected to reach the majors until 2026. However, dynasty managers should continue to monitor him as he could make a case to get an opportunity in Double-A at the end of the summer.
