Double Gameweek 34 Rankings - Fantasy Premier League Predictions, Tips, and Picks for 2023-24

FPL Double Gameweek 34 rankings, predictions, tips, and picks for Fantasy Premier League lineups. RotoBaller's EPL fantasy Double Gameweek 34 rankings for the 2023-24 FPL season.

Welcome to Double Gameweek 34, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, which reviews the previous month and looks ahead to the upcoming fixtures.

Thirty-three gameweeks down, five to go. It's the most significant double gameweek of the season! FPL managers have been preparing for it in one way or another. Whether activating a chip or taking a hit, this week's FPL Roundtable from the FPL crew has you covered.

The Fantasy Premier League Double Gameweek 34 deadline is 8:30 a.m. EDT on Saturday, April 20, when two games kick off. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage, as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.

Fantasy Premier League - Double Gameweek 34 Rankings

Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top-15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.

Gameweek 33 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers

  • Goalkeeper: Martinez, AVL; Henderson, CRY; Leno, FUL - 9 points
  • Defender: Fabian Schar, Newcastle - 13 points
  • Midfielder: Cole Palmer, Chelsea - 26 points
  • Forward: Nicolas Jackson, Chelsea - 14 points

FPL Goalkeepers - Double Gameweek 34 Rankings

  • Many FPL managers want triple Arsenal and triple Liverpool in their Free Hit 34 lineups. However, the way to maximize those slots is to pick outfield players. As a result, the goalkeeper decision is likely coming down to Dean Henderson versus Jordan Pickford. Pickford is my pick because of the easier first fixture against Nottingham Forest and the potential for save points in the Merseyside derby versus Liverpool.

FPL Defenders - Double Gameweek 34 Rankings

  • If you will only get one Arsenal defender this weekend, make sure it's Gabriel. The stalwart center-back has been a mainstay for the best defense in the league all year and doesn't mind powering a bullet header into the back of the net now and then. Both fixtures for the Gunners (Wolves, Chelsea) have solid clean-sheet potential, and Gabriel could walk away from Double Gameweek 34 with 20 or so points.

FPL Midfielders - Double Gameweek 34 Rankings

  • In Sunday's Premier League-altering win over Liverpool, Eberechi Eze had the game-winning goal at Anfield. In Double Gameweek 34, Crystal Palace gets two home games against West Ham and Newcastle. Both opponents have leaky defenses, and there are goals to be scored. The Eagles look much improved under Oliver Glasner, and a full-strength attack is what they need to make a momentum-building surge for the last five weeks of the season.

FPL Forwards - Double Gameweek 34 Rankings

  • Last week, Matheus Cunha returned to the Wolves' starting lineup for the first time since Gameweek 24 and did so with a bang. Seventy-five minutes and two goals later, the Brazilian forward found himself on our Free Hit radar. The question will be whether he can play most of both games against Arsenal and Bournemouth. If we get word from Gary O'Neil that his first-choice forward is good to go, then Cunha should be the third-most-popular forward behind Dominic Solanke and Jean-Philippe Mateta this weekend.
