This first stash article of 2024 is a doozy. Even with prospects like Wyatt Langford, Jackson Chourio, and Colt Keith making their respective team's opening day rosters, we still have a loaded group below that all could be making impacts at the Major League level early on this season.
But remember, stashing prospects should be done strategically and varies from league to league. Don't leave your teams without much depth just because you want all the high-upside prospects on your roster.

Top 25 Prospects to Stash for Fantasy Baseball
Notes on plenty of prospects can be found below the rankings table. And remember, these rankings are for 2024 redraft value only. These are MLB prospects to potentially make a rest-of-season fantasy baseball impact in 2024.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings Analysis
Jackson Holliday, Baltimore Orioles
It was rather surprising that Jackson Holliday didn't make Baltimore's opening day roster. But don't you worry, his time with Triple-A Norfolk is sure to be brief. After slashing .323/.442/.499 across four levels as a 19-year-old in 2023, Holliday impressed this spring as well with a .311/.354/.600 slash line across 48 plate appearances with seven extra-base hits, two home runs and two steals. And as you could expect, Holliday is off to a hot start in Triple-A including his first professional home run off a left-hander.

If you drafted him, you absolutely need to stash him. And if someone panic dropped him or he's still somehow available in your league, Holliday needs to be stashed in all formats right now. He's likely up before the end of April.
Coby Mayo, Baltimore Orioles
If you're in the Norfolk, Virginia area, I'd highly recommend catching an Admirals game while Holliday, Coby Mayo, and company are still there. While Holliday is likely the first to get the call, Mayo shouldn't be that far behind him and offers close to as much potential short-term impact, just in a different package.
Mayo won't run like Holliday will or provide the same AVG, but Mayo's power is among the best in all of baseball and gives him Top-5 upside at the third base position long-term. I'd expect plenty of power right away along with a solid average as well. Mayo can also play both corner infield positions which should only help his case to break into the Baltimore lineup sooner rather than later.
Junior Caminero, Tampa Bay Rays
Honestly, I'm not quite sure where to rank Junior Caminero after yesterday. The game started out well for him as Caminero hit a 402-foot tank to dead center off of John Means for his first home run of the season, but then came up hobbling after running out a groundball later in the game.
As this article is publishing, we haven't heard about the severity of the injury or the duration of Caminero's potential absence, but I'll update accordingly as further details emerge. Assuming he's not out long, Caminero is the #2 prospect to stash right now behind Holliday due to his immense power upside and solid feel to hit.
Joey Loperfido, Houston Astros
In my opinion, Joey Loperfido is one of the most underrated prospects in baseball. In 540 plate appearances across three levels in 2023, Loperfido slashed .278/.370/.510 with 27 doubles, 25 home runs, and 27 steals. Most of that damage was done in 84 Double-A games where he was a home run shy of going 20/20 at the level. Loperfido has been flexing his power already here in 2024 as well with three home runs in his first three games for Triple-A Sugar Land, including a two-homer game on Saturday.
Given his above-average power/speed blend and defensive versatility, Loperfido is an intriguing bat for fantasy purposes that could post some 20/20 seasons at the Major League level while also potentially having multi-positional eligibility. He's started in center field all three games so far, but also played first base and second base last season as well.
Paul Skenes, Pittsburgh Pirates
My #1 pitching prospect to stash in 2024 redraft leagues is 2023 #1 overall pick, Paul Skenes. Honestly, when we entered spring training, I didn't think Skenes was going to be up until the second half of the season. Well, that was wrong. Pittsburgh assigned Skenes to Trople-A Indianapolis to open the season and some thought he had a chance to make the Major League roster out of camp.

Skenes likely won't be in Triple-A for long and dominated in his first outing of the season, tossing three perfect innings with five strikeouts while averaging 100.1 mph on his four-seamer. If you're looking for 2024's Eury Perez, Skenes has the best chance of making that major impact as a rookie.
Jordan Lawlar (ARI) and Noelvi Marte (CIN)
You'll notice I didn't include either Jordan Lawlar or Noelvi Marte in these rankings. That's due to them both being out for roughly half the season due to injury (Lawlar) and suspension (Marte). Both are Top-10 overall prospects for me right now with immense offensive upside for fantasy, so if you have deeper benches and can wait until mid-season, then they're fine players to stash for that potential second-half impact.
