CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/26/24)

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/26/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

It's the calm before the Saturday storm with only three games on tap tonight. We're not scraping the bottom of the barrel, though. We have an important Big Ten game, a Pac-12 game out west to close us out, and a game of Saints in the A-10 sandwiched in the middle. Sound like fun? It will be! Let's get to it!

The Big Ten tilt features the Spartans heading to Madison to take on Wisconsin. We head to southwestern New York State for a battle between the Bonnies and St. Joseph's. We end the night in Berkeley with Stanford visiting Cal. These teams don't like each other in basketball either. It's going to be almost like the gridiron version. Some rivalries lose a little something in basketball. Not this one.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/26/24, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Jaylon Tyson, California ($9,200)

Cal was an abysmal 3-29 last season. They had nowhere to go but up. They already have, but the reason that Cal has a puncher's chance at some postseason tournament is Tyson. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in eight straight games and UTEP was the only D-1 team to hold him under that total in games he started. Tyson has a well-defined floor and his ceiling is in the mid-50s. That makes him worth paying for in every format.

Kanaan Carlyle, Stanford ($7,000)

We have seen the evolution of Carlyle's game over the last month. The freshman didn't even appear in a game until December 17 and was a bench player for the first few games. He is already one of the better scorers in the Pac-12 because he has been outstanding at getting to the line. He's more aggressive on offense and uses body control to pick up fouls. Carlyle has taken 40 free throws in the past five games alone, hitting 29 of them. That's a lot of free points, which has served to increase his floor. Cal isn't disciplined enough to keep him from getting to the line. I expect another strong game out of Carlyle.

Tre Holloman, Michigan State ($4,500)

Holloman has been a spark plug off the bench for the Spartans all season long. With Jaden Akins nursing an ankle injury suffered last weekend, we could see even more minutes out of Holloman tonight. Holloman hasn't played less than 18 minutes since before Thanksgiving and has 55.25 DraftKings points over the last three games. He's one of the more consistent value plays around in terms of minutes. I'm all in if he's going to play 30 minutes at this price.

Also consider: Tyson Walker, Michigan State ($7,800); Lynn Greer III, St. Joseph's ($7,300); A.J. Hoggard, Michigan State ($6,500); Max Klesmit, Wisconsin ($5,900); Andrej Stojakovic, Stanford ($4,900); Jalen Celestine, California ($4,800)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Fardaws Aimaq, California ($8,200)

Aimaq put up 90.5 DraftKings points against the Washington schools in the last week, both of whom have solid frontcourt. Stanford does as well, but it's hard to ignore how well Cal is playing. The Texas Tech connection of Tyson and Aimaq has everything to do with that. Aimaq has back-to-back double-doubles and three in the last five games. He is peaking at the right time.

Christ Essandoko, St. Joseph's ($6,400)

Essandoko has been a force in A-10 play. He has at least 23 DraftKings points in five straight games thanks to good shooting and his defensive work. Essandoko is tough on the boards and a good rim protector as well. He even dishes out a few assists here and there for good measure. He has improved as the season has gone on. We should see another strong game out of the 7-footer again tonight.

Mady Sissoko, Michigan State ($5,000)

Don't read too much into Sissoko's clunker against Maryland over the weekend. He only played 10 minutes because of foul trouble. That doesn't happen very often and Wisconsin isn't the physical team that they used to be. They are perimeter sharpshooters but don't do a ton of work in the middle anymore. Sissoko can have a big game if the Spartans get him more involved in the offense. Even if they don't, he could pick up double-digit boards.

Also consider: Maxime Raynaud, Stanford ($8,400); Spencer Jones, Stanford ($6,500); Malik Hall, Michigan State ($5,900); Barry Evans, St. Bonaventure ($4,600)
