Chuba Hubbard's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Chuba Hubbard for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end RB2
ANALYSIS: Since Week 12, Chuba Hubbard has had a really solid role in the Panthers' offense. Despite the team's struggles, Hubbard has given fantasy managers a nice floor with some upside. He has scored double-digit fantasy points in each of his last five games and is averaging 15.7 fantasy points per game during that stretch. He also hasn't played on fewer than 64% of the snaps and has gotten 22 touches per game in those five games.
In Week 17, Hubbard gets a matchup against the Jaguars, who have been decent on paper vs. the run this season. However, they'll be without Trevor Lawrence due to injury for the first time in his career. This game could be competitive, which would lead to more opportunities for Hubbard.
He's +115 to score a touchdown and has an over/under rushing + receiving yards prop of 79.5 on FanDuel Sportsbook. To compare, Alvin Kamara is also +115 to score a touchdown and his over/under rushing + receiving yards prop is 83.5, just four yards more than Hubbard. If you're in a 12-team league, don't be afraid to plug Hubbard into your lineup this weekend as your RB2 or Flex.
