Jonathan Taylor's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jonathan Taylor for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Top-10 RB with top-5 upside
ANALYSIS: Zack Moss (forearm) has been ruled out once again. That means it's the Jonathan Taylor show again in Week 17. Week 16 was just average for JT, who was coming off his own injury. He missed three weeks with a thumb injury but returned to a 79% RB opportunity share on 60% of the snaps vs. the Falcons. And that was in a negative game script.
The Colts are 4-point home favorites against the Raiders this week. They'll also get Michael Pittman Jr. back. The offense should hum, and Taylor should make the most of his opportunities against Las Vegas. The Raiders allow the 9th-most rushing yards to opposing running backs this season. They're also coming off a huge win in Kansas City, so this could potentially be a let-down spot for them.
Expect JT's workload to increase in Week 17, especially without Moss. He's scored a touchdown in all but one of his fully healthy games this season and is a good bet to find paydirt at least once against the Raiders this weekend.
