Mike Evans' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Mike Evans for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start In All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end WR2 with WR1 upside
ANALYSIS: Mike Evans put up a dud in Week 14, catching just one pass for eight yards on six targets. It's the first time in the last three seasons he's caught just one ball on a full complement of snaps. Speaking of history, good players like Evans are typically hyper-targeted coming off bad games.
Going back four seasons, he's averaged 5.7 receptions for 90.9 yards and 1.3 touchdowns on 8.4 targets in games immediately following a game he's recorded fewer than 30 receiving yards. However, the Packers represent a difficult matchup for Evans and Bucs receivers today. They've allowed the 6th-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
The weather in Green Bay looks decent for a mid-December game (40 degrees, mild winds, no precipitation), so expect Baker Mayfield to look Evans' way early in often in this one. Based on history, expect a bounce-back performance from the Bucs' WR1 today.
